The Initial Game Pass Titles of 2026 Show Xbox Remains Committed.
Everywhere you go, fans keep sounding the death bells for Microsoft's gaming division. The platform was lately surpassed in sales by a lesser-known competitor. Platform-specific outlets have started writing about PlayStation unprecedentedly. Last year proved to be a period of total upheaval for the Xbox ecosystem. Yet, based exclusively on the upcoming Game Pass lineup in 2026, it is apparent that Microsoft remains determined to draw people in with compelling titles on its flagship service.
The Available Now Titles
A pair of titles that are immediately available today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, don't represent the biggest draws. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's truly noteworthy.
Major Titles on the Horizon
Come mid-January, Game Pass will add the often-overlooked Star Wars Outlaws, an open-world game that breaks up typical Ubisoft design with a space-faring criminal escapade. A further major acquisition is Resident Evil Village with its iconic tall vampire, previously described as "a superb mixture of terror and combat."
Intriguing Niche Additions
However, the more modest titles arriving shortly on the service deserve recognition. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler that is incredibly fun, becomes available next week β and you should try it even if you missed out on the first Lost in Random game.
This UK-developed survival title from last year may draw you in remarkably quickly.
Atomfall, a survival title with stealth elements by the makers of Sniper Elite, is also a game to check out. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine β Master Crafted Edition to look forward to.
A Solid, Curated Lineup
Ultimately, this isn't a revolutionary update to Game Pass, nor are they tentpole Microsoft studios games that validate the subscription alone. Yet, this selection are rock solid. There's a good mixture of older titles you may have skipped and new-ish games that didn't get the attention they were due initially β transforming them into perfect candidates to find a new audience on Game Pass.
Hope you're ready to part ways with The Grinch Christmas Adventures, though.
